I started this project a while ago and was side tracked by a gift that I wanted to stitch, which took longer than I had anticipated. Still, I am stitching it again now as part of a project rotation:) I do not generally go for too much pink, but I love the way all the colours in this rose compliment each other and that is what drew me to it. The design is by Joanne Sanderson and I am stitching it on 14ct aida with DMC threads,two of which are white and pink light effects threads for her wings.
